About Us

Smiling woman in a cozy white sweater and yellow skirt.

Cheyenne Henry, Mental Health Professional

Hi there and welcome! My name is Cheyenne (she/her), and I am glad that you are here. I want our time together to feel like a safe, nonjudgemental, and open environment for you to explore the different parts of yourself and your history that make you unique. Self-discovery is a process! Our work together will help you feel empowered, supported, and understood during your healing journey. Drawing primarily from psychodynamic approaches, I work collaboratively with clients to explore the deeper roots of their concerns rather than simply addressing surface symptoms.

I am an advocate of social justice in my work and my daily life. I am an intersectional feminist, woman of color who is LGBTQIA-affirming, antiracist, fat-positive, and anti-ableist. Everyone has their own history and cultural influences, and I believe in offering an approach that is curious about and respects those differences. I believe that learning and growing are lifelong processes, and that progress is possible with the support of a nurturing community and environment.

I have a passion for working with:

• Individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of childhood abuse, neglect, political violence, domestic violence, or major life disruptions/transitions.

• Individuals seeking a deeper understanding of their own racial and/or multicultural identity.

• Individuals experiencing anxiety and/or depression.

• Couples seeking better communication skills and a stronger connection.

To tell you a little about myself, I am a big animal lover. I have a cat named Mookie Betts and a dog named Waffles. I love going to concerts and discovering new musical artists to enjoy. I also really enjoy cooking, and I try to make one new recipe a month.

I look forward to connecting with you and learning more about your story!
