My name is Ashley Battle, and I am a graduate-level clinical mental health counselor in training who is deeply passionate about supporting clients through healing, growth, and emotional empowerment. I believe therapy should be a space where individuals feel safe, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. I strive to create a warm and collaborative environment where clients can show up authentically and begin building the tools they need to thrive.
I enjoy working with children and adolescents, as well as Black and Brown mothers who may be carrying the emotional weight of stress, life transitions, and generational responsibilities. I am passionate about helping clients explore concerns related to anxiety, self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, attachment issues, and the impact of past or present relational wounds. My approach is rooted in understanding the whole person mind, body, and environment while also recognizing the importance of culture, identity, and lived experience in the therapeutic process.
I utilize a strengths-based, trauma-informed lens and incorporate an evidence-based frameworks such as wellness-centered counseling strategies. I aim to meet each client where they are, while supporting them in developing healthier coping skills, stronger self-awareness, and more secure emotional connections.
My goal is to help clients feel more confident, grounded, and connected to themselves as they move forward in their personal journey.
