I like to think of myself as your everyday clinician. Coming to therapy is already hard enough, and my goal is to create a space that feels approachable, human and grounded from the very beginning. I have both a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master's degree in Public Administration, which shapes my understanding of individuals within the broader systems, communities, and life circumstances they navigate. I came to this work through my own journey of healing and began therapy years ago to process trauma and life experiences that shaped who I am today.
That lived experience deeply informs how I show up for my clients. I work with individuals, teens, couples, and families from all walks of life. I am especially committed to providing equitable and affirming mental health support for Black and Brown communities, ensuring that care feels accessible, respectful, and human no matter the circumstances. I have specialized experience creating safe, affirming spaces for Black men and women navigating major life shifts, identity exploration, chronic illness, and the process of finding and using their voice.
I am passionate about working with:
My approach is trauma informed, collaborative, and non judgmental. I often tell clients that you are the pilot and I am the co pilot on your journey. There are no right or wrong answers in our work together, only space to be heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to help clients process their experiences, strengthen relationships, and build emotional awareness and self understanding in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
