Hello Beautiful Humans,
My name is Rowshon [pronounced Row-Shawn], and I am a graduate student completing my practicum at PPPC. I'm enrolled in Adler University's Masters in Couples and Family Therapy Program and pursuing a Certificate in Sex Therapy. I work under the supervision of two licensed therapists. What does that mean? As a graduate trainee working with my clients, I will apply what I have learned so far and learn new ways to assist you in your growth in therapy. I will also get feedback from my supervisors on how to be a better therapist for my clients.
I have gained experience in several areas and am passionate about working with people regarding:
· Trauma
· Queer + Neurodivergence Identity Challenges
· BIPOC communities; Immigrants, 1st Generation or 3rd Culture
· Sex Therapy (BDSM/Kink + / Desire Discrepancies)
I like to address systemic issues that impact us and how we show up. Sometimes, that is difficult when we struggle to effectively communicate with those in our lives and don’t have the tools or skills to do so. I would love to explore, process, and advocate for your growth. I value respecting and supporting each other's differences to become the best version of ourselves.
Looking forward to joining your journey!
