I help clients develop a more optimistic perspective and help them feel empowered to take control of their lives. I believe in creating a safe, judgment-free space for clients to learn more about themselves.
I enjoy utilizing therapeutic approaches that help individual clients learn how to shift their perspective towards a more optimistic mentality and know where to take control of their lives. With these approaches, I help couples progressively navigate disagreements and learn how to listen to one another patiently.
I am passionate about working with:
- Individuals who struggle with disordered eating behaviors, OCD, and anxiety.
- Individuals who struggle with anger management.
- Couples who struggle with communication, decision making, and finding compromises.
I use the Gottman Method and Imago therapy when working with couples. I believe in the therapeutic strategy of rebuilding a deep understanding of one another and taking the time to fully listen to each other in order to effectively establish a strong, loving and lasting partnership.
I have earned my B.A. in Psychology at the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin and am earning my M.A. and license in Marriage and Family Therapy at a COAMFTE-accredited school, Touro University Worldwide.
I look forward to learning further about you!
