What We're Looking For
We're looking for team members who are passionate about removing the stigmas of mental health and making an impact. We are looking for part-time therapists who are motivated and interested in building professional experience in private practice. Prior work experience as a therapist is required.
In this position, you will provide professional counseling and therapeutic services to assess, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. If pre-licensed, associate (post-graduate) therapists work with a supervisor to outline training goals including certification completion or meeting licensure requirements. Licensed therapists engage in consultation for onboarding and ongoing professional development.
Who We Are
Profound Peace Psychotherapy Collective is a diverse counseling practice treating clinical issues (i.e., stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief) through a relational lens. PPPC provides cognitive-based psychotherapy to individuals and families as well as Gottman Method Therapy to couples.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Utilize empirical, professionally approved and appropriate methods in treating couples and providing therapeutic services.
- Conduct comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history to identify problems, diagnoses, and service needs.
- Utilize clinical knowledge and consultation to develop, document, and implement customized, effective treatment plans in collaboration with Lead Therapist.
- Write timely progress notes and related documents that relate directly to the outcomes described in the treatment plan.
- Administer clinical assessments to assess for mood disorders as indicated to assess and track symptomology for outcome measures.
- Monitor clients' progress and compliance with the treatment plan.
- Identify areas of risk and seek consultation for appropriate action.
- Engage in weekly supervision with clinical supervisor for consultation, feedback, and planning.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all information obtained from clients and collateral sources, in accordance with ethical standards and
HIPAA.
- Adhere to all standards of practice outlined by the APA, Illinois & Wisconsin State
Licensing Boards, and other professionally relevant psychological bodies under the direction of the supervising clinician.
- Actively participate in team-building activities and contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture by engaging in open communication, sharing insights and ideas to enhance the overall team dynamic.
- Utilize effective strategies to recruit clients for therapy services by designing and executing targeted campaigns to reach potential clients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a similar discipline with related coursework in clinical issues as defined by the DSM-V.
- Must have availability to attain and maintain a caseload that supports continuity of care and engagement in weekly supervision. Part-time caseload is 12 sessions per week.
- Must commit to a minimum service period of 1 year to maintain ethical, quality care.
- Must have prior work experience as a therapist.
- Must have evening or weekend availability and commit to at least one block of time for in person sessions, as this is a hybrid position.
- Must demonstrate willingness and ability to adhere to all standards of practice outlined by the APA, Illinois & Wisconsin State Licensing Boards, and other professionally relevant psychological bodies under the direction of the supervising clinician.
- For WI applicants, LSWs and MSWs will have to request approval from the state to be supervised by an LPC.

Compensation:
Profound Peace clinical staff are paid an hourly rate for sessions conducted based on a pay-when-paid model. Staff are also paid for a minimum of 2 administrative hours per week to complete administrative tasks. Pay rate will vary depending on experience.
