What We're Looking For
Profound Peace Psychotherapy Collective (PPPC) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our diverse and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents, helping them navigate challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns. Through evidence-based practices, the therapist will support young clients in building resilience, developing coping skills, and fostering emotional well-being.
This part-time position is ideal for therapists who are passionate about supporting youth, reducing mental health stigmas, and building experience in private practice.
If pre-licensed, associate (post-graduate) therapists work with a supervisor to outline training goals, including completion of certification or meeting licensure requirements. Licensed therapists consult for onboarding and ongoing professional development.
Who We Are
PPPC is a diverse counseling practice that treats clinical issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief through a relational lens. We offer cognitive-based psychotherapy for individuals and families, and Gottman Method Therapy for couples. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents using evidence-based practices tailored to their developmental needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
- Develop, document, and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with the Lead Therapist.
- Write timely, accurate progress notes and related documentation aligned with treatment plan goals.
- Administer clinical assessments to evaluate mood and behavior concerns, track symptoms, and measure outcomes.
- Monitor clients’ progress and provide adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Engage in weekly supervision for professional development, feedback, and planning.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with ethical standards and HIPAA guidelines.
- Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture through open communication and collaboration.
- Assist with client outreach efforts, including designing campaigns to connect with families seeking therapeutic services.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a similar discipline.
- Experience: Previous experience as a therapist working with children and adolescents is required.
- Licensure: Candidates must be licensed or pre-licensed (associate/post-graduate), with appropriate supervision and training plans in place to meet licensure requirements.
- Wisconsin applicants: LSWs and MSWs must request state approval to be supervised by an LPC.
- Certifications: Training or certification in child and adolescent-focused therapies is a plus (e.g., Play Therapy, CBT for Youth).
- Schedule: Evening or weekend availability required; hybrid position with at least one in-person session block.
- Commitment to a minimum of 12 sessions per week and a one-year service period to ensure continuity of care.

Compensation:
Profound Peace clinical staff are paid an hourly rate for sessions conducted based on a pay-when-paid model. Staff are also paid for a minimum of 2 administrative hours per week to complete administrative tasks. Pay rate will vary depending on experience.
