About Us

Calia Brooks, QMHP

I am passionate about working with:

  • At-risk youth and adults looking to recover from traumatic experiences and process grief
  • Minority teens and young women struggling with self-esteem, shame, and self-sabotage
  • Black women and men struggling with societal expectations and identity challenges


It is my goal to help you get back to feeling like yourself after a transition or define your next chapter. I want to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and open environment for authentic conversations that create the changes you want. Given the many misconceptions about mental health in underserved communities and amongst minority populations, I strive to combat the stigmas and change the narrative.


I currently have a Bachelor's degree in Middle-Grade Education and Clinical Psychology and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University.
