Business Administration Intern
Profound Peace Psychotherapy Collective is seeking a part-time Business Administration Intern. This is an unpaid position in exchange for tailoring the position to meet program requirements for academic credit. This is a remote position but in-person meetings in our Woodlawn/Hyde Park office may be required from time to time. For this reason, a Chicago-based candidate is ideal.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administration Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of business administration. The successful candidate will work closely with our team members, assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks and contributing to ongoing projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to various departments within the practice, which may include but is not limited to data entry, filing, answering phones, and responding to emails.
- Project Assistance: Assist in the coordination and execution of projects across different teams, including research, data analysis, and report generation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, documents, and reports as required by the team.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and clients, ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within administrative workflows and contribute ideas for their implementation.
- Special Projects: Undertake special projects as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Professionalism, correct spelling, and proper grammar are a must.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Passionate about or interested in mental health and wellness.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Be organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, including clinical staff and other professionals.
- Basic analytical skills to assist in data analysis and report generation.
- Proactive attitude with the willingness to take initiative and seek opportunities to contribute to the team.
