I grew up as the eldest of three in a single-parent household and a Midwest town where differences were glaring. Through those experiences, I learned firsthand how critical it is to find support, care, and acceptance to promote healing and advocacy. My value of respect and support for differences extends to the therapy space as I strive to provide a welcoming space for anyone ready to share their story.
I am a third-year master’s student in DePaul University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Informed by my own lived experiences and passion for working with children and adolescents, I work to support people in fostering healthy development and coping mechanisms. I am also versed in working with adults who are looking to explore healing disordered eating and trauma. I am currently being supervised by a licensed and registered Art Therapist, and offer creative-based tools and strategies influenced by art, music, and play therapy. I believe creative expression can have a profound influence on one’s healing journey.
I have specific passions for:
My goal when working with clients is to develop tools that grow with them to navigate the ever-evolving world. I bring my authentic, compassionate, and kind self to our sessions. My childhood struggle to find support from adults and care providers informs the drive and support I bring to my work with clients.
I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming, health at any size, and BIPOC ally. I believe that everyone should be able to access mental health services.
